Think I can get one on c.raigslist? For cheap?
I had my third and final pregnancy-confirming beta this morning. It went from 170 to 324, which translates to a 91 percent rise every 48 hours, or a true doubling time of 51–52 hours.
At this early stage my clinic wants to see a minimum 2-day rise of 66 percent, and I am well over that. In black-and-white, it is positive news. My RE seems satisfied.
So now we wait for my first ultrasound.
Meantime, I will work on coaxing my positive attitude out of hiding. I know right where to find her — rocking in a corner, holding her breath.

I've often thought that your line "Infertile Ground...on which I tread and sometimes kneel" is one of the most poignant things I've ever read. It's achingly true. At times I have pictured you kneeling in grief, frustration and even defeat. Tonight, I picture you kneeling in an attitude of hope and perhaps prayerfulness.
I am so glad to hear how great today's numbers are. You are PUPO. I know you will be for the next 38 weeks or so. Positive attitude!! Even when it's hard for YOU to have one, those of us who care about you will have it for you.
Sending many good vibes that this is only the beginning.
oh, whoops sorry! She's here with me - we're dancing and sinking a bottle of Moet in your honour! I'll send her straight home...
WooHoo your PUPO!
I am so pleased to hear this fantastic news, Lisa!
Keeping my fingers crossed for you as you wait for that first ultrasound.
Lisa's comment is perfect about your line about this infertile ground.
This is great news. I can understand about holding your breath, though. Its much easier to see this as the total wonderful, positive news when its someone else. If it were me, I'd be so scared, too. Chin up, buttercup. This is AWESOME news! I am so excited for you.
You create such honest images... like your attitude rocking in a chair nearby. Here's to hoping she returns straight away and that the news continues to be positive. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Sticky vibes hon! I'm still here with you.
This is wonderful news! What a great number. I agree with what Lisa said.
So glad for the good news.
That is excellent news! Can't wait to hear the results of the ultrasound.
What good news! I know it's hard to accept after all you've been through. I hope your positive attitude gets out of the chair and starts dancing.
You've got great reason to get that girl up on her feet, dust her off, and get prep her for a long-awaited nine months of bliss. I hope you can enjoy every moment. Stay positive, girl!!
Stay strong!
Erin
Congrats! This is wonderful news!!!
Be gentle with your positive attitude and yourself. You two will come together soon. In the mean time, just FEEL whats going on with you right now! It's SO exciting! Congratulations!!!
Hugs,
